Friction coefficient tests with KISTLER technology

Product quality is a top priority at REYHER. That is why the delivered articles are put through their paces in our in-house test laboratory using the most modern methods. A variety of test stands and devices are available at the headquarters in Hamburg for hardness, tensile and friction value tests, salt spray tests, spectral analyzes and other analyzes.

At REYHER, we have been using KISTLER's “ANALYSIS System” for friction coefficient tests since the beginning of 2018. This allows torque / preload tests for screws up to size M48, such as those used in wind turbines, to be carried out in accordance with the standards. Our head of quality engineering Frank Poggensee explains how we use the new screw test bench and what advantages it offers in practice in a report that KISTLER has published on its website.
