S/4HANA Introduction – RIO – REYHER Internet Order
The introduction of S/4HANA will also influences working with the RIO web shop. All the associated effects are summarised below.
Maintenance work
As of Tuesday, 17 December 2024, the data connection between RIO and REYHER SAP was disconnected in preparation for the SAP conversion. It was still possible to fill shopping baskets and enquiry baskets. These can be transferred with the now completed SAP S/4 HANA introduction.
Article numbers
During the maintenance work, all REYHER article numbers in the RIO were changed to the new, longer article numbers. In the process, we swapped some allocations between DIN and ISO articles, as long as the articles are technically identical. Stored customer article numbers were adopted. For example, if you have stored your own article number for a DIN 933 article, an ISO 4017 article will appear in the search now. You will find further information about the article number changeover here.
Quotations
All quotations that were outstanding (i.e. quotation items that have not been ordered by 17 December 2024) have been invalidated. If these were not ordered before 17 December 2024, a new request is necessary.
RIO SCAN
Labels do not need to be changed. The barcodes can still be used.
If the old method without a keyboard scanner is used for RIO SCAN, items uploaded in the RIO SCAN mask remained in the system. The article numbers are changed automatically.
Favourites
Your favourites lists remain unchanged. The article numbers are automatically converted to the new REYHER article number.
Change from requested shipping date to requested delivery date
With the introduction of S/4HANA, we changed the logic of the transmitted date. Up to now, RIO has provided for the entry of a requested shipping date (the date on which the goods are shipped from REYHER). This is now changed to a requested delivery date. Please enter the day on which the goods are expected to be received in your incoming goods department.
Waiting time when transferring shopping baskets and enquiries
Due to increased complexity in the SAP S/4 HANA environment, longer waiting times are currently occurring when transferring large shopping baskets and enquiry baskets. We recommend transferring a maximum of 100 items for the time being.
