New records in order picking

REYHER continues to set new records - this time in order picking: last year, more than six million order items were picked at our logistics centre in Hamburg. At the end of 2021, the number stood at 6.3 million items, an increase of more than 10 % compared to the previous year. The total weight of goods picked in 2021 increased even more significantly, from 76,600 to 91,900 tonnes (+20 %), thereby exceeding the threshold of 90,000 tonnes for the first time.

We owe this performance in particular to the dedication of our more than 250 employees in warehouse logistics and our state-of-the-art logistics systems at our central location in Hamburg. Together, this ensures that around 5,000 customer orders are handled every day and that our business customers from all over the world receive their orders completely in just one shipment.
