E-gnition, the team from the Technical University (TU) Hamburg, is starting the upcoming 2022 season with the completely redesigned „egn22“. The preparations fort he completion of the electric racing car, which also drives autonomously, have been in full swing for weeks.
Planned as a 3D model, the components for the car have been gradually being manufactured since the beginning of the year. REYHER supports the team with screws, nuts and other items that ensure that the individual compoents are held together.
E-gnition has successfully cleared the first hurdle, the qualification for the FS competitions. The team qualified for the FS Germany and FS East Hungary competitions in the Driverless and Electric categories.
The „egn22“ must be ready fort he first FS competition at the Red Bull Ring in Austria by July 24th. We keep our fingers crossed for the team to succeed!
