Formula construction team HAWKS Racing e.V. is competing in competitions with their first all-electric car with a high-voltage drive. The students belong to the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg (HAW). We supported the team in assembling their new car called “Haavke” (Flat German for falcon/sparrow hawk) with fasteners.
In mid-August, HAWKS will head to the Formula Student Germany in Hockenheim, where they will compete with other teams for the first time in the electric class (EV). At the end of August, the team will continue to Barcelona for Formula Student Spain.
The team’s goal, as a newcomer to the EV class for both events, is clear: to drive and gain experience and score points! We keep our fingers crossed!
