REYHER received the ‘Supplier of the Year 2018/19’ award in the ‘Mechanics’ category at the Dräger Supplier Awards ceremony, the Lübeck company manufactures medical and safety systems. The award, made every two years, was presented during the Suppliers’ Day event in the future factory of the Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA plant. The prizes, awarded in five different categories, were presented by Stefan Dräger (Chairman of the Dräger Executive Board), Kim Sascha Steingrube (Head of Quality Management) and Steffen Michalzik (President Global Purchasing / Supplier Quality Assurance).
Dräger acknowledged REYHER in the 'Mechanics’ category for continuous optimization over the years in comprehensive c-part management and international kanban supplies. REYHER was successful prevailing against a large number of competitors: This year a total of some 1,200 suppliers were nominated for the award.
Matthias Kelp (Vice-President Sales), Udo Strothmann (Key Account Manager) and Thomas Haug (General Manager RAP) accepted the award and certificate on behalf of REYHER.
Dräger and REYHER can look back on decades of good cooperation. Since the early 1990s the Lübeck company has been a REYHER kanban customer.
