Commissioning of the new automatic small parts warehouse aisles

In July 2020, the starting signal was given for the expansion of our automated small parts warehouse (AS/RS). Four additional aisles were created for 62,000 additional container locations. In the past few weeks, the entire system was extensively put through its paces in production tests, with the result that we were able to carry out the final acceptance last Friday and switch the new aisles from trial operation to live operation. 

With the expansion of the miniload, we are ensuring that our delivery readiness will remain at over 99 percent in the future and continue to guarantee our usual short delivery times.
