Anti-dumping duties enter into force

The European Union published the anti-dumping duties in the ‘Official Journal of the European Union’ on Thursday. The duties will officially enter into force on 18 February 2022. Thus, as of today, all imports of iron or steel fasteners originating in the People's Republic of China into the EU are subject to the anti-dumping duties. The level of the general anti-dumping duty rate is 86.5 percent. The regulations apply to all EU member states.

In short definition, all articles with head and thread as well as punched parts are affected.

The anti-dumping duties are valid for a period of five years.
